2D IR spectroscopy - control and time laser pulses - Model 575
2D IR spectroscopy - control and time laser pulses - Model 575
Solution
The 575 is useful in controlling the time between laser pulses. It can generate single pulses or even wave trains as the experimental approach requires. In addition, the time between pulses, the number of pulses in a wavetrain, whether the wavetrain is comprised of regularly-spaced or irregularly-spaced pulses, are all programmable.
The 575 is a multi-channel digital delay/pulse generator. Any channel can generate a single pulse, a burst of N regularly-spaced pulses (N is selectable) or a wavetrain that is comprised of individually timed pulses (one can sum the timing of any or all channels onto one channel). Furthermore, one may synchronize one or more 575's to each other using the external/internal clock feature so that all units operate from one common clock.
